Acquired after long-term site identification, this project faced multiple external shocks: tighter borrowing restrictions in 2019, COVID-19 lockdowns, and the unexpected collapse of the appointed builder. Each disruption required rapid adaptation to protect the project timeline, design integrity, and investor outcomes.
Rather than pause, the project embraced market-driven design changes during COVID, re-configuring layouts to reflect evolving buyer needs such as flexible “Zoom rooms,” multipurpose spaces, and communal green areas. When the initial builder collapsed, alternative partnerships were secured quickly, supported by an established network of consultants and suppliers. Cost pressures were mitigated through value engineering and direct procurement strategies, such as locking in pricing with trusted suppliers.
Despite headwinds, the project has retained strong momentum. The re-designed interiors and emphasis on adaptable living positioned the development ahead of market trends. With construction underway and market confidence maintained, the project remains on track to deliver value to investors through a differentiated, future-ready product.
